The city of Monterrey, México and the Mexican Chapter of the International Medical Geology Association hosts the MEDGEO 2023, with the support of the Autonomous University of Chihuahua (UACH), the National Research Institute for Forestry, Agriculture and Animal Production (INIFAP-Mexico), the National Technology of Mexico (Tec II-Chihuahua, Mexico), the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), the International Environmental and Health Sciences Consortium (IEHSC), and the International Medical Geology Association (IMGA).

The City of Monterrey is the capital of the State of Nuevo Leon, positioned in the North of Mexico, well-known as the city of the mountains. Monterrey presents one of the most solid economies of Mexico, recipient of foreign investment that positions Monterrey as one of Mexico´s most industrialized cities and home to renowned international companies and universities. In addition, Monterrey´s Citizens have one of the highest levels of quality of life.

MEDGEO 2023´s scientific program will include short courses, plenary lectures, and plenary sessions where oral/platforms will be given. In addition, there will be two poster session; one for faculty and professional scientist, and one for students of all levels. Plenary lectures, plenary sessions and poster presentation will deal with many crucial issues, such as: medical geology in air, soil and water systems, medical geology in agriculture and food production, medical geology health impacts, medical geology and advance technologies, medical geology and sustainable mitigation and management for sustainable development and medical geology and novel advances.
